the glass door was broken I filed a claim july 19 I believe claim has not been considered its against policy to mail, all in all it would be a lovely addition to any bath very smart as well as built extremely well, I believe mine was damged in shipping as it was very poor and appeared stepped on, This is one nice 1940's looking cabinet which well match from retro to country would also work well in the kitchen for spices or small articles, I really loved the design but as mine was damaged that is about all I can say the glass looks like it might be a little see thru wood is very well taken care of but mine was busted up, I'm hoping amazon will refund me asap

This is a beautiful little cabinet for the price. It's not going to win any high end construction awards, but let's face it, that's not what you buy when you spend 35 dollars for a medicine chest. However, the finish is good, the waffle glass is a nice touch -- and it is real glass -- and the assembly is reasonably easy.

Finish on mine had no chips or issues. I never like little stickers on anything, I'm sick of pulling off little assembly letter stickers at this point, but it wasn't too bad and did no damage to the finish.

It's not real wood - it's finished particle board.

Reversing the door pull direction is as simple as flipping the back so the reinforced hanging area is properly positioned for your application.

One suggestion - another shelf would use the space better. I added a shelf using Home Depot pre cut poplar pieces, and just painted to match. This makes the interior space work better for me. If you want to store a lot of tall bottles, you might feel differently.

I did use glue to reinforce EVERY joint and connection point, and in the end the thing feels pretty solid, and I'm happy with it so far. I'm a bit concerned that the finish might start degrading due to humidity in the bathroom but that hasn't happened yet. (Its only 2 days old so....)

I purchased this cabinet for a home that I was flipping. I old fashion look of the cabinet and the great price point it is sold at. Upon receiving the item I found assembly to be fairly easy (Think IKEA-ish). The cabinets look makes it feel like an older piece, without the high price tag. The only complaint I had was the door would not close properly after it was assembled. I remedied this by removing a shim the factory had placed behind one of the hinges when they pre-built the item prior to sending it out into the market. After the shim was removed the door closed and secure properly with no problem. I would definitely purchase another one if I have a space it fits.

Looks great. Holds a lot for a shallow cabinet. Stays closed and door performs well. I wanted the door to open from the right so I switched it. It's easy if you are handy with basic drilling and a little bit of measuring. Had to drill tiny new holes to move the hinges to the other side and move the magnet door latch. Worked great. (I don't think you can just turn the cabinet upside down to get the door to open from the other side, because there is a solid bar on the upper back that is used to anchor the cabinet to the wall. The cabinet "hangs" from that using two screws. If you turn it upside down, that bar would be on the bottom. Fearing the door would no longer be balanced or close well, I didn't mess with that.) I also had originally planned to paint this because I didn't want a cheap looking wood in my new bathroom. But the finish looked so pretty, I left it! P.S. I also replaced the knob to match my other cabinet.

I got this for our tiny powder room on the main level of our town home to get all the medicines and vitamins out of my kitchen cabinets. I am AMAZED by how much this really holds and how beautiful it is! I don't know how much I like the see-through part, I may put some black poster board over it, but undecided. If you need a cabinet this is the one to get! It was half the price as others and was very easy to assemble and everything lines up perfectly. The manufacturer even added extra parts just in case, which was great!
