I should have checked the dimensions, these are REALLY much smaller than I imagined. I was picturing the normal about 8X11ish wooden puzzle. Not so much... BUT, it is what I wanted and my 3 year old loves the lil boxed set, and really the small size makes it perfect for him to cart all over the house from room to room without being to big and awkward. I'm saving the 2nd set to give as a gift for Christmas. I was going to dock a star because of the size but that wouldn't be fair. They are nice quality puzzles and that was my slip up for not verifing the dimensions.

I gave this to my three old grandson and it took less than a minute for him to throw all of the pieces together and throw them back in the box. Now all the separate puzzle pieces are mixed up. It's not the puzzles fault but I don't look forward to sorting all of them and placing in the correct box. He might be too young for this puzzle.

My 3 year old LOVES these puzzles! They are easy enough and big enough pieces that these are perfect learning for toddlers. I love that they have little shapes on the back so you know which piece belongs to which puzzle! Also the separate sections are super helpful to keep things organized.

Solid, well-made M&D product that is loved by my 2 year old. The pieces are sturdy (compared to thin cardboard puzzle pieces elsewhere), relatively easy (depending on individual fine motor skill development) for a toddler to piece together, and the graphics well done. Some adult help is usually needed (had advanced beyond the peg puzzles) but these will keep my toddler entertained until we complete all 4 puzzles. I will also note that the puzzle is especially well designed for this age group. We have worked on other puzzles where the background is so similar it even takes the adult an extra minute to find the correct piece - not so with these puzzles. The box keeps each puzzle organized separately for easy storage/use (we haven't lost a piece yet, knock on wood) and the pieces also have a unique shape on the back to further identify each puzzle. Overall, a great next puzzle for those moving beyond the earlier wooden/peg puzzles.
