I had never seen scent sticks before a few years ago, but when we bought our current house the prior owner had a few of them here and there. I really liked the gentle aroma they emitted.
This particular unit I purchased (Lavender) has a pleasant smell, but frankly was a bit overpowering at first. I removed all but two of the sticks and the amount of smell faded back to where you can just tell it's there (exactly what I wanted).
Nicely made product, looks good on the shelf. No regrets.

Love this fragrance. I bought 1 for the bedroom originally and was so happy with it that I bought 1 for my office at work. I also bought the large 3 wick candle and it's just as wonderful. They're both very fragrant but not overpowering. Of course, with the reeds, you can control the amount of scent that's delivered. I love walking into the bedroom and office and smelling it.
