I am pleased with this product so far. I used it to repair a 4 foot tear in our automatic pool cover. I bought the 2 pack which was a good thing because I botched the first application. You really need to make sure the material you are putting the tape on is completely dry. I had some areas the first time that were wet and while some of the tape stuck the last foot did not, so I had to rip it all off. The second time I made sure everything was dry and it worked great. When the cover is closed you cannot even tell where the tape is. I really like that the tape is clear so you see the underlying cover color. Good product.

Good for S2000 convertible tops

I use mainly for repairing S2000 convertible tops. Only thing I've found that will hold. I keep a spare cut piece in the console in case the patch on the top starts coming loose, which it will at some point. Generally the patch can go 2 or 3 months, then it only takes a minute to put another one on. Has kept a 1" rip on one car from spreading for about 4 years or so.
