Best product!!!

I decided to try the ready made because I hate the task of boiling pasta correctly in water. It's a hassle to me and I never get it right, so when I saw these I was like yes my prayers have been answered. I had been craving a lasagna, so I tried these. You literally layer them in the pan with your sauce and cheeses and put in the oven. The perfection on the cook is crazy. I wondered if they would be watery or mushy, but the crispness stayed the same. The lasagna was so good and perfect. I will be using these from here on out!!
best noodle

Best Lasagna noodle I have found so far that is gluten free.
Taste is great, but I would use two layers in the future. Gets soft otherwise

This pasta tastes great, but absorbs more moisture than expected. I expected it to have more bite but it did not hold up. Next time, I will use two layers, and hopefully that should help. Works great for a quick and easy meal, so if you don't have time to cook and cool pasta sheets, then this is great...just double it up.
In the future, I would be interested to see a thicker version of this product, as I think that would solve the issues that I and other have had.

Great for crock pot

I made a new crock pot lasagna recipe with these and it cut my prep time down considerably. They noodles held up well and it was the perfect consistency for lasagna with only a fraction of the prep time.
Prep & cook this lasagna in less than an hour

Barilla oven ready lasagna noodles are the way to go. Remember cooking with Nonna as kids because making lasagna was a project. We laid out the old fashion noodles out on towels to dry. Tried really hard not to tear them and hoped they wouldn't stick to the towels. But there were always noodle casualties. Lol
These ready to use lasagna noodles are short but don't be fooled! They absorb the sauce & liquids and expand. Use a lightly greased 13x 9 inch pan. There will be space on the sides even once completed. But it makes cutting & serving so much easier.
Lasagna varieties are limitless. Last night I made a veggie lasagna with spinach, riced cauliflower and zucchini. Made a homemade butternut squash Alfredo sauce. Drain the ricotta and mix ricotta with 2 beaten eggs ( extra protein) and fresh parmesan, garlic powder, basil, salt, pepper & parsley. ( Ricotta alone is very plain)
Cooks tips. Sliced cheese is less expensive and doesn't contain additives like pre shredded cheese
In lasagna it makes layering much easier and even.
Soft vegetables can be mashed or minced. They will disappear under the cheese & sauce. Great way to get the kids to eat 3-4 servings of veggies.
Seafood pasta is an excellent choice for adults while teen boys tend to prefer meatier versions.
Ground chicken or turkey can be used in lieu of red meat & part slim cheeses work just as well. It is possibly to create a heart healthier lasagna
Lasagna is great reheated the next day. Just keep extra sauce on hand. Bon Appetito!
