I love these regulators... I have replaced the "rocker" weights on all my pressure cookers/pressure caners.... You will need the vent pipe.. All American pressure cooker vent pipe for regulator.

Bought through All American and it came quickly and it worked perfectly! I watched videos on how to can properly and it worked like a charm! It worked great due to the fact that I have a pressure gauge and they were completely in tune. Use the two in conjunction for a perfect balance and easy canning!

I have no idea how I lived without this for so long. It makes canning so much easier. If you don't have a weight set up, it is well worth the cost to switch it out! No more babysitting the gauge.

I bought a pressure cooker but alas no escape valve. So nice to order on line, get exactly the right one! Made yummy peaches!

I'm truly a featherbrain. I'm usually very careful to put all of my canning necessities in the clean canner after the canning season is over each year. My green beans will be ready to pick in a couple of days so I got my canner out, all the jars I'll need, rings, etc. I always boil the gasket for 15 minutes before using each season just to get it ready and to be sure the canner is ready to go.

You guessed it.....no regulator weight. I looked high and low, in all the kitchen drawers, but no weight. Luckily Amazon had the correct weight and I knew it would be here within three days. It arrived today and it works beautifully. I'm certain that the old weight will turn up eventually but I just couldn't take the risk with half a garden planted in green beans. The only two veggies my husband will eat are corn and green beans. After over 50 years I've given up trying to sneak in other veggies. Any way, I'm very happy with the weight.
