Easy to clean

Easy to clean. Easy to use. Shoots out smoothly and is very pleasant to the eye. This is quite possibly my best amazon purchase. Only bad thing was the jerky seasoning it came with. It's not disgusting but not good either.

Gave this to my son for Christmas. He has a jerky business and he loves it. He really likes how much it holds and how easy it is to use. He had some problems filling it then with practice he has come up with tricks that make it a breeze. Has saved him tons of time.
but once loaded I had no problem making perfect strips of jerky

This thing is badass. It took a second to figure out how to get it apart to use it, but once loaded I had no problem making perfect strips of jerky. It cleans pretty easily (I do have a pretty large kitchen sink, so results may vary) with the provided brush. Glad I read reviews and ratings when purchasing.

My husband wanted this to make jerky with his deer and needed a jerky gun. We found something similar to this at Sportsmans but it was more expensive and didn't feel as sturdy. We were happily surprised to see the impressive quality of this jerky gun! It's really easy to use and to clean! The jerky came out very even as well. Worth the money!
Good product with some nuances...

While I really like the product the fact that sometimes it won't retract no matter how I push the release lever or how much I loosen the nuts for the air to exit. It's just plain old binding up. And while not that important the green label of LEM on the side washed off after the 3rd hand washing with only warm water and 1/2 cap of dawn dish washing liquid, which btw was already diluted 50/50. To me this shows some lack of quality control. I contacted the company and they weren't aware of the label coming off problem as they has just recently switched from the glue on sticker type label to this paint type.
Other than these 2 nuances this jerky gun works great. Kind of pricey but most specialty items are. I have started making 15-25 lbs. of hamburger jerky at a time so this type of product was a must. It holds 1 1/2 lbs of meat which fills a 10"x16" rack perfectly, so that is nice. I would buy again as I imagine the binding on return problem is probably a rarity. So far I've put over 50 lbs. through it.
