Item is as advertised. However you need to play with the hose pressure in order to have the ball actually balance on top of the water. At first when ball wouldnt stay up in the air I thought it was b/c toy wasn't balanced properly... however realized that was not it. The picture shows what would appear to be a hose on full blast holding a ball in the air... maybe its me but mine doesn't work like that.

surprisingly hard to get it to stick into the ground and stay upright. The ball feature is fun for the first day or two, but soon they boys lost interested in it and mostly use it as a sprinkler.

This was a wonderful water toy and worked great. After the second use the spike that holds this toy in place broke. This made the toy useless. Having only one,plastic spike on the bottom makes the toy unstable to begin with, a better option would have been to have three molded into the bottom, for balance as well as stability. It is a great idea for a outdoor toy but the durability makes it a waste of money as it is constructed.
