very good. one part didn't fit and Kodiak replaced it immediately

Pretty much as described. All of the 4x4 bracket hangers were stamped "top" on the bottom, so we had to disassemble and rotate the brackets 180 degrees. Kind of a pain in the ass when the frame pieces stand 8 ft tall and weigh several hundred pounds. All of the hardware was included, with extra screws and bolts. Also ended up with 5 extra pieces of measured and cut decking after the project was completed. Could not find where these extra pieces were supposed to go.
I had 4 hours in cutting (by myself solo).
I had two 6 hour days in assembly (had helper for two hours on day one to stand and secure the three frames, solo for the rest).
Saved over 700$ by using this kit and having Lowe's deliver the lumber, compared to buying a complete kit from the store and assembling it myself.

My husband put this together. The directions are step by step with a list of boards to purchase and how to cut each board so there isn't waste. We bought more lumber because we modified the steps for our grandchildren. The lumber cost us 490.00 and that was greentreat pine. We plan on adding on in the future also and it appears it will be easy to.

Pretty good

This is a really good kit. My 3 kids love playing on it. I had the deck rebuilt on my house in 2012, and just paid the builder to put this together. It took him and his son two days. I think if I had done it with a neighbor it would be 2 weekends. The plans were very complete. It is really sturdy and all the materials are holding up well after the Michigan winters. We had a smaller fort/swingset previously, but after 6 years the wood had cracked enough to make it unsafe.
One of the best aspects of this kit is that it is completely modifiable unlike the full swing sets that are simply assembled. I made a list of options that I wanted on a fort, and felt that this kit gave me the best structural layout. My kids swing set is stand alone (does not attach to the fort) and has 3 swings and one two person glider (I used an extra long beam). The fort has two slides: one on the 4 ft platform that is straight, and one on the five foot platform that is twisty (bought from Amazon, too). The backside has a rock wall, and the front side has a 7 ft Monkey Bar.
Consider upgrading some of the components. I upgraded the swings because they were not great and somewhat uncomfortable. And at the time it was built, I ordered extra swing brackets, A frame braces (for two sides), extra handles, more wall rocks, monkey bars, slides, and a telescope and steering wheel. The tarp ripped this winter so I need to replace. I was on Amazon right now shopping to buy that and to add trapeze bars and a rope ladder.
