Steam Engine & Whistle Noisemaker Kit

A very good product, very easy to assemble and works just like advertized, excellent steam engine noise, a little low on the volume, I installed it on my powerchair to alert people and to help me to not run over them. I have ordered many products through Amazon and have been pleased by their service.

Just the job. The job was to replace a bicycle horn that didn't scare the hell out of old folks. They can here me coming now.
I can't believe it worked the first time!

Makes a perfect steam engine sound for my steam punk hand. I'm still getting around to sourcing parts. Not a deep locomotive sound but it may sort of do the job. The whistle is a little tinny but it's a cute touch. I strongly suggest using solder that's less than a millimeter something for printed circuit boards. Also don't be an idiot like me and pull or cut at a bad joint. Just reheat the solder. I had to run wires at one resistor. Watch polarity of course, and a little bit of solder goes a long way. Oh and it's a pain to solder wires onto the posts but if I did it so can you. Single strand copper wire works better. Use the foam pad the integrated circuit came with to keep the upside down socket in place when affixing it. Have fun.

This product was exactly as advertised, and was easy to assemble. I would recommend it as a good project for someone beginning in electronics for model railroading.. I would order again from this seller.
