Disappointing
jscc•April 19, 2018
The idea is great and it would work perfectly if the cap that attaches to the brake reservoir was properly made. Having read reviews about it not working right, we very carefully installed and double check before pressurizing with air. At about 18 psi it popped off. Really glad I was not using brake fluid in the test. With each successive test, the cap would hold less pressure. To make it work, we used c-clamps and zip ties to hold it tight. It wasted a bunch of time getting it to work. After that the system worked great, but any time that would have been saved by using this over pumping the brake pedal was lost many times over.
The cap is cheaply made with three plastic "ears" to hold it on. A proper cap could not add more than a dollar or two to their cost.

This is a must for any DIY car guy. I was able to flush my entire brake system on my '06 Colorado within an hour, and this is me being a total newb! I'll be buying a new vehicle soon, and I'll be sure to purchase the right cap accessory for this system for it, since I'm going to start flushing brake systems on a semi regular basis now.
NOT WORTH IT FOR ME
sosvar2•November 5, 2017
I found this product to be essentially worthless. Yes, it does pump up your system to 15 lbs. (as the instructions say to do)--- BUT -- it does not say that it take 100 pumps to get there!!!! Then when you bleed one wheel, you have to go back and pump another hundred pumps! Personally, I believe 15 lbs. is to low to bleed a brake system, but just my opinion. Simply would not work for me, and was disappointed in the product. Perhaps, others will find the product to work for them.
It may be just as bad on old cars without ABS
Amazon Customer•August 27, 2017
I have tried using this on three different vehicles, 2 GM products, and a Honda. While it technically does work, the brake fluid barely moves. It would take forever to bleed all for wheels. All three vehicles were ABS, so maybe that is the problem? If so, they should say that it is only for non-ABS vehicles. That is only a guess, though. It may be just as bad on old cars without ABS. I also don't think that you would really be doing a good job since the pressure is so low. I ended up just using it as a reservoir and pumping the brake pedal. Don't waste your money. It is much cheaper, quicker, and easier to pump the brake pedal and just keep filling the master cylinder. You also don't have any cleanup that way.
Great time saver. Worked on 2001 Chevy Duramax

Works fantastic There are few things I give 5 stars to, but this is one of them. I have been turning wrenches for 37 years and this is one of the best investments you can make in small tools. Great time saver and one man operation. Works much better than the old vacuum pump method.
Do not put brake fluid in the container, just make sure the master cylinder is full and check it each time before you bleed the next caliper. I bled all four calipers in less than 10 minutes. No need to ever touch the brake pedal or start engine.
