Nuts were difficult to get in place. It did take some small tools to set things right and took longer than expected. Once on the gun, there is a gap down the middle no matter how you fit them. Was able to mount a small light and it does feel sturdy enough. Cheap rail adapter, cheap gun. Works just ok. Gets a "meh" from me.

It's a little difficult to assemble without a small screw driver. The wrench provided does the job but it will require some work to get the screws in the right way.
After it is tightened it does the job very well. I've shot about 700 rounds through my pistol since I attached this and it has not come loose at all.

I don't know why Smith and Wesson didn't put an integrated rail on the Sigma series of pistols to begin with, but that is neither here nor there. This product does the job and it does it inexpensively.
I first put the rail on my gun and one end of it didn't seem to mesh up quiet as well as the other end. I just swapped it around and it seemed to do the trick. There is, however, a slight gap in between the two parts. Generally accessories that you purchase are adjustable to the point that it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Once the rail is put on the gun, it doesn't look too awkward but it is a noticeable addition to the gun itself.
I tried to put a light that I have on a Smith and Wesson M&P 40 on this new rail and I couldn't get it to fit. Upon a little further inspection I noticed that the grooves in this adapter are slightly narrower than that of the ones on my M&P. The light that I have does come with a variety of parts to fit various rail systems, so if I can find that little bag of parts, I'll try it out.
Other than that, it was a very simple installation and once it's on there, it shouldn't go anywhere. Just be sure not to over tighten the screws that it comes with as the rail components themselves are made of plastic. All in all, I would recommend this item, especially at its price under $10, without any reservation.
