got this as a gift for my sister who loves it. a lot of slots to add items and we find it challenging (a good challenge) to come up with snacks to put on the tray. we take it out to the pool and in GA it can get very hot and the cheeses and shrimp stay cooler longer than expected. of course the ice is melting fast, even though, the items stay cool. not cold as if in the fridge or freezer (should not be expected) but cooler than if not on ice. I think it works well for what we want to use it for.

I have purchased a variety of serving trays for hosting parties! This one is great - especially since you can place ice underneath to keep your food cold! I have had many compliments on this. I've even purchased a second one! I would highly recommend using with Icy Cools Reusable ice cubes (instead of having ice melting under the trays)

I feel a little dissatisfied that for the same exact price I paid for this item I could have had the Prodyne AB-5-L which would include the lids (should be standard). I was about to do a return on this item and re-purchase but Amazon would have charged me $9.00 to ship it back. I feel a little mislead and hope to emphasize fact that now I have a nice tray without lids for the same price I could have had them!
