Couldn't reliably cook evenly

This product does work, tastes fine, and saves space, but there are better alternatives out there. I prefer the UTZ pork rinds barrels. They're cheaper, tastier, and consistently cooked. These were inconsistent in how well they cooked from package to package. I found it impossible to guarantee that all would cook without scorching. I tried shaking, not shaking, carefully redistributing the bag contents, and nothing seemed to help much.
it becomes easier to pop a perfect bag of rinds

The successfully popped bags rely on the type of microwave used and the proper dispersion of the crumbs inside. Once you get the timing right, it becomes easier to pop a perfect bag of rinds. Theyre tasty and the originals can be seasoned with cayenne pepper for some heat or with any other saltless seasoning. Theyre just-salty-enough and if you add any more salt, they will become inedible. You'll know youre getting a good bag if the bag expands fully without a burning smell.
Toast Instead of Microwave!

HEy All!
I've been eating these things for years. I know they are designed for microwave but ----- I've discovered it is best to toast them. They will be fluffy and just overal better than the microwave. I use a toaster over set a medium toast. Use a handful of bits and spread out on a small sheet(the one that came with the oven). Start the cooking but keep a good watch. Towards the end these things burn. It will take a few tryies to know your oven.

Amazing! Not really spicy, though - but a nice flavor
I was afraid because I always burn microwave popcorn. These puffed up and were perfect in my microwave on 2 minutes (the maximum recommended time). They crackle for a while after they come out of the microwave (think pop rocks), and this action can be intensified by dipping into guacamole.
Now I have a nice stash of pork rinds, hehe

Was very reluctant to try this but glad I did. DON'T overcook - 1 min 20 secs is enough. AND I agree with another poster- open it outdoors. It does have a weird smell. I let it cool just a bit. They come out really flaky and crisp. A bit saltier than I like but for those of us that don't eat chips, this is a great substitute. If you've never had pork rinds from the store, try that first before you buy these. You don't want to invest in so many of these if you don't like the consistency and taste.
