Meh as always with these offbrands

Any GameCube controller that isn't the original Nintendo is gonna be crap, as this one is. They all stop working to some degree, as this one did (A button often doesn't respond and joystick often goes left on its own). As far as these offbrand controllers, this isn't that bad, but they all suck regardless. If you really want something that works just invest in an original

Worked okay for maybe 2 hours. Then it randomly stopped working completely after very minimal use and became totally unresponsive. This is a classic case of you get what you pay for. Unfortunately these aren't built to last and even when I was playing with it, the response from the thumbsticks felt rubbery and lethargic. I think it's best to just buy used GameCube controllers or the Smash 4 Nintendo ones.

The joy sticks tend to be all the way on or off in whichever direction they are pushed, so you can't do fine control that you can with a real Nintendo controller. Bought this for early September birthday. Would have replaced it with a real one at Christmas and not felt too bad about it because it's pretty cheap. Unfortunately, buttons and joy stick stopped working by mid October. Had a similar experience with another low cost controller from GameStop. You really have to spend the $100+ for a real one, or you're better off just not buying one at all.

I've been using this with my Wii and haven't had any issues yet. The controller is considerably lighter than the official Nintendo Gamecube controller, but I haven't had problems with the buttons or toggles. That being said, I've only used it on RPG's, so those needing faster button mashing may notice things I haven't. I've only logged about 15 hours on it.
From the various reviews, it looks like QC might be an issues, as they either work or they don't.

Do not cheap out, get a real gamecube controller

the product feels to be made of cheap plastic, all the buttons are very spongy and uncomfortable to use especially the l and r buttons, the z key takes basically squeezing the whole controller to press.
Also after 10 minutes of light usage (setting the keys with dolphin emulator and playing about 5 minutes of mario party 7)(i also bought a 4 way pc to gamecube adapter) the wiring broke and the controller does not give any inputs.
if you want a game cube controller dont cheap out and buy one of these, find a game store that does trade in and find a real gamecube controller , which are usually like 20 dollars more than this, but for the prodiction quality is much worth it.
