I have been involved in car audio for the better part of 20 years and I have owned MANY hi-end brands. I'm giving this 5 stars because of the incredible value for the money. I'm using this with a Kicker DX250.1 amp and it hits harder than I ever thought it would. If I turn it up all the way it shakes the rear view mirror out of position. The only draw back is that these subs and the enclosure don't handle the higher end of the sub-frequency spectrum. It's better for hip-hop, dance, pop music, etc. than it is for rock and metal, or any other music where you want to hear the punch of the bass.

I just needed some bass for my music in my daily commute to work with my 2001 Acura Integra. This thing is like the best bang for the buck. The bass is amazing. It can make your car BOOM BOOM BOOM and make things shake, but you can tune it to your liking with the level of bass. I look forward to driving my car now. I have it setup with a Sony XPLOD head unit. For some reason the SUB adjusting doesn't do anything. I have it adjust to medium bass. Maximum is too much for me. This thing is also small compare to other subwoofer.
