I think this was an excellent purchase for the price. I recently purchased this brake controller and installed it in my truck so I could pull a 17' travel trailer 3400 miles from Texas to Niagra Falls,N.Y. We were constantly going from driving on flat land, hills, mountains and back again. When doing so you have to adjust the aggressiveness of the electric breaks because in the mountains they need to grab harder going downhill and on flat land if you do not lighten up the sensitivity they will almost lock up the trailer wheels and jerk the truck when you apply the breaks. All that is ok and my ONLY gripe about this controller is the sensitivity adjustment is SOO sensitive that ANY very slight adjustment and it goes from too much break to too little break. There IS no sweet spot...

Installed on a 2002 dodge 2500. Took less than 10 minutes to install. Purchased this one so the other pickup can pull. Looked at the other Tekonsha controllers but this one works and I am used to this model.
