Good solution so you can keep the top down
David Cardwell✓ Verified Purchase•July 3, 2017
It doesn't fit all the way down so you can hook it into the back channels all the way, but other than that it works great. It is much easier than putting the soft top on all the time. If I do it myself it takes about 5 minutes. There has been a lot of rain lately and water will collect in the center, but it is completely dry inside.
Definitely not what you want to use if you are storing it for long periods of time though.

This fits my 01 TJ perfectly, is very high quality, and has allowed me to take the soft top off for the summer. It has been through 2 thunderstorms and so far no rain has made it to the interior.
The only thing I would improve is a larger storage bag. I know it will fit because it came inside it, but I haven't figured out yet how to get it back in so I just stuff it in the cargo area.

Although not as easy to put on as I was hoping

Have soft top and door uppers? Tired of when it rains you have to put your doors back on? Although not as easy to put on as I was hoping, because it is of very good quality and heavier duty than I thought, pretty much like your soft top. Would have given it 5 stars had it been a little less well made, funny giving it less stars because of quality. It does fold up and easily stored.
Great cover, but has design flaws.

This is a GREAT cover compared to many of the cheapos out on the market. That being said, this top has 2 drawbacks. The first being the rear part doesn't have enough tension to hold the back of the cover from being pushed in by wind and water finding its way into the rear storage area. The biggest drawback is the front door flaps do not take into account having aftermarket mirrors and relocation brackets. The front flaps simply do not come forward far enough to clear the brackets that mount on the side of the windshield hinge. Because use of this, but even without it, the door flaps don't cover forward enough on the door to stop heavy rains from getting in.
On a plus note, this cover fits perfectly over a Trektop NX top with the side windows still attached. The rear side clips won't go into place, but not a problem with the windows being on. It's still stable because the rear clips still go under the tub lips and the front clips and loops hold the front in place.
Overall this is a great, heavy-duty cover, but some design changes need to be made for the door and rear cover area to really keep the inside dry in heavy rain. It is a jeep, but rust is your enemy.

Slightly too small if you have a sound bar, BUT...

I bought this cover because I needed something quicker than the Besttop soft top (which I love) that I have on it. It's great quality, very easy to take off and to put on. Good luck getting it into the stuff sack (still working on that). 😀 My only issue is that I have a sound bar and the trail cover a bit too narrow to clip into the channels. The great thing is...it extends out far enough that the water is still diverted to the ground, so it isn't a problem. This fits so well in general, that you don't even need to tie it down, unless, of course, you have hurricane force winds. It would be nice if they increased the width just an inch or so, but because the sound bar is there, the water pools just above the driver and passenger seats, this makes it easier to get rid of the water.
