First off, it arrived 4 days early! That was awesome. Secondly, it was very easy to assemble, especially if you are good with tools. If not, no shame in being a sissy. I kid, I kid. seriously though, this thing is sturdy! Seen a lot of reviews bitching over it being rickedy etc... No way, not if you tighten everything correctly. this thing is built to last!
The gliding weight cairrage is easy to fasten and the small pieces you need pliers for are a snap to put in, again, you just have to be good with tools. I have no clue how someone could rate a product low just because they aren't good with a wrench and some pliers. This is a tough weight rack for tough training, don't be a sissy.
All in all, great smith machine, highly recommended, but not to children in a middle school like one of the other reviewers... What is wrong with those people? Lol

Exactly as advertised. I chose this Smith Machine because I knew it would not require much floor space. My only concern is the lack of pegs to hold the machine down while using a bench press. I would suggest taking some heavy dumbbells and placing them in the back corners as well as putting plates on the pegs in the front as I saw from some other reviews. If you have a low ceiling, it is also going to be tough to get the weight carriage onto the Smith Machine. Really requires two people to install that part. Finally, I saw a comment about getting the little black round caps into the weight carriage. Smallest pieces, toughest part of the assembly.

I did not expect it to be as good as it has been. This smith machine has really helped me get the pumps back from being able to push heavy weight without a spotter. Highly recommend for the home gym. One thing I noticed is make sure you lube up the rail that the bar slides up/down on with some quality grease, the one they send is so-so and when you're moving some big numbers the sticking will frustrate if not lubed properly. Other than than load up as much weight as you can handle and pump!
After adjusting this works like a charm!!
