This base creates excellent smoothies at home when you add your favorite liquid or fruit. I mix it with diet root beer, vanilla ProJym protein powder, and ice for a delicious root beer float smoothie. I also make dreamsicle smoothies subbing the root beer for orange juice.

I've been searching for the right emulsifier to make frappes at home to save money and this has satisfied my search.
One local, small-town coffee shop uses a liquid emulsifier, but the drink still separates quickly as it starts to melt.
The other local cafe uses an powder emulsifier and I believe this is it, or at least very close! It's my favorite place to get frappe's as they don't taste too artificially sweet and they always have a nice, creamy consistency. These are 10x better than the competition.
Now I can make these at home without spending $6.
I've actually had family and friends tell me that the ones I make in-home are better than anything they can buy.
The bag seemed expensive, but you don't use much per serving and it lasts a lot longer than expected.
This ends up being a huge savings!

UPDATE: i added a star because if you freeze milk instead of ice- it comes out creamy.
I bought this powder thinking I would have creamer results and the ice would not break apart.. Wrong. This is a bag of sugar with vanilla powered flavoring. I can achieve the same results using milk or cream for frappes. I bought this full price and it's pretty pricey for sugar and vanilla. It doesn't even reach shake consistency in creameness.
Why the three stars. If you cannot drink milk ( I can) it's close to using 1% milk. It's not creamy like whole milk. It's ok and a good choice if you cannot have dairy.
