This Christmas gift started off as fun for my granddaughters at bath time. After a week and a half, the right side suction cup stopped sticking. I cleaned it again and the wall but it will still not stick. From the options of my order now, I am unable to return or exchange it for another one.
My son's favorite toy, the bane of my bath time existence.

I've purchased this set on three separate occasions for my son. He is obsessed with basketball and absolutely loves this toy. It just doesn't hold up.
1. The suction on the basketball hoop doesn't stick. I've tried wetting the suction cups before putting it up, I've tried not wetting them, I've tried mounting it on various shower/bath surfaces in our home. Even when I get it somewhat secure, it falls off the wall after my child takes a few shots. It also seems to become less and less apart to stay on the wall the more he uses it.
2. The balls get mildewy. I hate squeeze toys with holes in the bath tub. No matter what I do with these balls (squeeze them out after bath, constant cleaning, etc) they get really gross to the point of discoloring on the outside because of mildew on the inside. It is way too much upkeep for a bath toy in my opinion.

This is actually my second set of this toy. My son absolutely adores it! The reason I had to get a second set is because the first set of balls were growing mold on the inside. After each bath, I made sure to squeeze out all of the water, but the mold still grew. One day my son was squeezing one of the balls and black ooze just started coming out. It was disgusting. The reason I am still giving this toy 4 stars is because on the second go round, I applied a drop of puff paint in the hole of each ball and haven't had any issues with mold since no water can get in. My son still has fun putting the balls through the hoop and now there is no disgusting black ooze! This is a great product, it just needs a little doctoring.
