We will be using it to create a termite barrier around the perimeter of our house.

My house is in the mountains and about 30 minutes to the nearest town. This is why I have no problem paying the $25 a bag to have it delivered to my front door. I buy 2 bags a month all year long and just dump it into bins for winter. We are at 4200 ft in elavation and the snow/ice does make it difficult to get down our driveway. Our driveway goes straight up a hill about 600ft and is completly paved. Plowing it is difficult so I buy this to break up the snow and ice about every 15ft down our driveway. I create little "slide stop spots" so incase we begin to slide our vehicles hit these "slide stop spots" and stop.

It works perfectly. Each slide stop spot is about 5ft wide and because of the snow not being there if we start sliding and hit this spot the vehicle comes to a complete stop.

I know that you can get this stuff cheaper at the store. However if you want to save the trip and have it delivered all year long instead of only getting it seasonal or if it is in stock at the store...This is a convienent way. I dont mind paying the extra price for the convienence.

Worked well to melt ice and snow! However, is not great for salting food, the particles are too big. But was great to have in a pinch for a snowstorm.

Not quite sure how much one can say about salt. It came in a bag. The bag is sturdy enough that it's not breaking even though I didn't use all the salt at once. It's being used to clear out / kill roots in a sluggish sewer line. Not really working, but that's not the salt's fault. So.

Works great. Melts the snow and ice on my side walk.
