Love the shape....looks elegant sitting on the counter. Knives are very sharp. Have gotten compliments on this. Very best price for this item and I checked everywhere prior to making the purchase.

These are the best knives that we have ever owned. We first used them at a beach rental home and liked them so much that we ordered our own set. The handles provide a very good ergomonic fit.

Okay... We got these knives as kind of a fluke. My husband earned points through an incentive program, and this is what we bought with them. I work as a personal caterer, and knives are really important. Having used mediocre knives, I was just never willing to spend hundreds on buying a really expensive set.

When this set came I was really surprised by a couple of things. The first is that they knives are huge. When I read 9 inches, I thought the entire knife was 9 inches. (My own ignorance, I guess). the 9 inches just the blade. They are stainless, so they are very sturdy. Which is a great thing, though when you chop for hours a day, they do tend to get heavy. They are incredibly sharp, and I know that I will probably never have to buy a knife set again.

They are high quality, and wonderful knives, I just don't know if I would recommend them for the people who aren't big fans of the kitchen... Though those people probably aren't spending $300 on knives anyway, or reading this review!

So, if you're reading this. Go ahead and get them. They are wonderful, even if they do take some getting used to.
