This heater does a pretty good job but you can definitely tell this isnt your average 1500w cove. Im an electrician and deal with lots of different brands and i cant say anything bad about this one compared to others. Mounting was easy and wiring was the same as usual. Bought this for my parents for their 15x15 hot tub room that isnt insulated very well. Needless to say i thought this would do but they ended up buying a 1500w space heater to add to it and now its fine. If i were to do it again, i would just go with a better one for more money.
Most Excellent Company

They are very easy to put up and work just as they are advertised, maybe better. I would recommend these to anyone that has a small space to heat (15 x 20). The company is very easy to talk to if you can stand to get through a list of computer voice prompts?
Don't expect any installation instructions

Heater itself was okay. End cap on one side was badly scuffed up but inconspicuous in the room, so no biggie. The item description on Amazon is a mess - there is not squirrel cage heater, no moving parts. Didn't expect any with this style of heater, but it caused me to pause before ordering. This did not come with any instructions and those that I did found online are minimal at best! If you are a DIY home owner and not an electrician Qmark/Marley heaters have much better installation instructions (Take note King Electric...). I would probably go with another manufacturer next time just because of that assurance that I was installing it correctly.
nice office addition

this heater was easy to install, it operates with no noise at all and does a good job of keeping my office warm and my electric cost down, I will be buying more to install in my house.
Good heater if your expectations are reasonable

I have bought a number of these King cove heaters. Initially I expected them to put off more radiant heat and was disappointed. Although it was not a good choice for my original application (providing quick heat at shower time), I have found that they are good heaters in more static conditions. I have now installed several of them in a cabin over the past 2 years. They are slow to heat the space (which should be expected based on their power consumption), but they are reliable and do work well.
I have installed these 120VAC heaters in conjunction with the Honeywell RLV3120A1005/H and Aube TH115-A-120S thermostats and both combinations are working well (the Aube is backlighted and programmable while the Honeywell is basic). Once the room is up to the desired temperature these thermostats throttle back the power and hold at a very steady temperature.
The surface of these heaters does get hot enough to burn skin (if you are dumb enough to hold your skin against them). But the instructions say to install them at least 6ft off the floor where children cant reach them or fall into them. They are great for cramped spaces where floor space is at a premium and baseboard heaters are not possible.
