Great quality gaff! Only 4 stars because the picture shows black and I received brown and there's no cover for the hook. Every gaff I have ever bought has come with a cover on the tip, I will have to make my own cover.

What an amazing gaff. Forget the fact that it's extremely light weigh and incredibly well made, the handle is amazing and very well suited for it's purpose. Ever had a rubber handle of a cheaper variety slip off the shaft at the very last minute? I have. That will NOT be a problem with this and the handle is long enough to accommodate a short grip or a long grip. Expensive, but you gets what you pay for. This is worth every cent as it is a lifetime tool I have no doubt. Just buy it!

Great gaff with solid grip and strong pole with quality hook. My last gaff had foam grips and failed me when it slipped through my hands while trying to land a large Cobia. Never again. This Gaff is awesome.
