Both of my sons (and I) love mac cheese and this is by far the easiest and best tasting mac cheese out there. We feel it is healthier that the kraft alternative and did I mention how easy and quick it is to make. Peel off the top, fill to the line with water, and microwave.

Kids give this 5 stars but I don't like the consistency of the shells.

While I love regular Velveeta shells and cheese that you cook on the stove top but something seems to happen to these if you let them sit even for a few minutes. They get gummy, gooey and the taste can be a bit yeech ( for lack of a better word) if you don't mix and eat right away. That's something the kids agree on"”if you let the shells sit they simply do not taste good. However if you mix it right away it seems to taste fine (though still slightly different imo from the regular one that you cook on the stove). The teens and the youngest love it although they do prefer the noodles from Kraft macaroni and cheese (which don't get gummy like this when they sit)

Giving at four stars because it tastes great to my kids.

I admit, I like these. No, they aren't healthy. But I keep a few of these in my desk so when I forget lunch (or don't feel like making lunch) I have something to eat. They do taste like the actual Velveeta mac and cheese. And the portion is definitely small but enough to hold me over. I have them on subscribe and save for every few months and it keeps the price under $1 per cup and less than what I would pay to buy them in the grocery store. The time does need to be adjusted to the type of microwave you have.

So, these get a 5/5 on convenience and the fact that they don't use dehydrated cheese.

Always handy to have around with a toddler! He loves them and I love that I can get them delivered to my house through Amazon Subscribe and Save!
