Leaked on the first use!
Bryan P. Rachko✓ Verified Purchase•June 6, 2017
I saw this item at a local hardware store and contemplated purchasing this gas can. When I got home my neighbor happened to have the same can and raved about how he loved it and ended up purchasing a second one. I loved the simplicity of the nozzle. I ordered one and was happy to finally be able to get rid of the turn and screw nozzle. Unfortunately, the first time I used the gas can fuel leak out between the black cap and yellow nozzle. I took the cap off to check for obstructions or cross threading and no luck. The gas can continues to leak every time I pour gas. I wanted to return the product but unfortunately I can not ship it since it has already had fuel in the container. I am very disappointed with this product.
You'll be better off with 5, 1-Gallon Milk Jugs!

I am shocked that this "gas can" has over a 4 star rating. This has been, by far, the most useless purchase I have made on Amazon.com since I began shopping with Amazon years ago. The thing leaks like crazy - even squirts gas out of the push button area! Now, I have used a lot of gas cans... I understand the inner gasket, to have the nozzle tightened properly, etc. In other words, this is NOT user error. This IS a seriously faulty piece of plastic. Also, with the large size, it is extremely slow to fill, so you're holding this giant thing for quite some time - while your gas slowly pours both into your mower and on the ground all around it - as well as on fingers and hands and shoes in all likelihood. I am serious when I say, I'd rather have 5, 1-gallon milk jugs than one of these containers.
No spill? more like slow spill...

I wanted to like this, I really did. The container quality feels good and the button operated spout works very well. However, unless I'm operating it very wrong (I'm sure someone will tell me I am), it is hardly no spill. My first fillup left a stream of gas running down the side of my bike and a puddle beneath it almost the size of the bike itself (it's just a Grom though). I was standing directly next to it at the time so didn't notice until I was done filling the tank and stepped away. Gas all over the place! I tightened the cap as far as I could, to the point it had caught the second tooth on the locking piece. The fuel is still leaking out somewhere near the screw cap or the nozzle itself. I'm pretty disappointed. I'll need to lay down towels or something to use this from now on to avoid making such a mess. If that was going to be the case, I ought to have saved the money and bought a basic gas can.
Two stars because the quality of the container is good and the button spout works smoothly. I bought it to, well, not spill while I used it! It doesn't do that, so not a recommended purchase.

Vendor non-responsive on warranty
Questio Verum✓ Verified Purchase•February 5, 2017
Warranties are just words until they are backed up. You can read reviews here, and on their replacement nozzle page, about the tendency of these nozzles to leak. Two years in sure enough, my nozzle started leaking, and as luck would have it the can was in the back of my car, so good times! The can is stored in a shed or in my car, used 1x, sometimes 2x per week, so hardly rough conditions. But okay, they have a warranty, I'll get a replacement nozzle and life goes on. That would require a response to my email, which never came. What else do you need to know? I gave two stars because the can itself would probably last nearly forever. But $12 for a new nozzle every two years, especially when there's a warranty promising otherwise, and "No-Spill" becomes a bit ironic.
Gas can leaked all over my car! The threads ...
Rhonda Lowe✓ Verified Purchase•December 15, 2016
Gas can leaked all over my car! The threads on the cap were defective so it did not seal. Could not and would not seal properly. Of course I didn't know this until I took it to the gas station and filled it up with five gallons of gas and put it in the back of mu SUV to take come. I guess if the property is made properly it will be "no spill" but this particular can was "much spill." Quality control is obviously an issue, because they should be checking the thread on the caps to make sure they close properly. I bought a 2.5 gallon version of this same can and had no problem with it.
