Easy to follow instructions, but if you'd rather watch how it's done there's a 2 minute YT video provided by Korky showing exactly what to do. Had no problems with the install and was done in about 15 minutes. Great value for $10.

This is a great option to replace old and outdated toilet fill valve systems. I like it because it quiet, super easy to install, and they have a great support staff should you run into any trouble during install. They even have how to videos on their website. I just replaced all the fill valves in my home for under $60, and it took no time at all. Highly recommend this product. It's also an American made product according to their website.

Recently, I noticed one of my toilets was making an odd noise. I removed the back to discover a small geyser, and that the builder hadn't bothered to run a hose to the overflow valve. I inspected the other toilets in the house to find the same issue, so decided it was Amazon time.

The product arrived earlier than expected, and in one piece. The installation instructions, and process were so easy that I was second guessing myself at every step. Nothing "just works" these days, right? However, it really was that simple. Even the flapper valve, which I wasn't sure I really needed, was a drastic improvement. All of the toilets now flush better, use less water, and fill back up quietly.

Excellent design, easy to install, and made much better than some of the cheap competators. Honestly, what more could one ask for?

Yes, this kit will get your running toilet fixed, and yes, it's pretty easy to install. But it's not magically quiet, and it's about the same quality as any other plastic fill valve and flapper. I suppose it is a technological step up from the old floating-ball apparatus, but not by that much. Does the job.

Aside from the mess involved, the install for this kit is pretty simple: turn water off, lock the valve height and tighten in place, trim and attach the fill tube and replace the flapper, turn the water back on. Instructions are very clear on all the exact details for each step, it's pretty hard to go wrong here.

Unfortunately, my valve has a pretty steady leak from the top as it's filling the tank. I can hear a steady "plop plop plop" sound as the water drips down for the duration of the fill time (which is way longer than what it took with the previous valve, by the way). So that pretty much destroys the QuietFill feature of this kit. I might have simply gotten a defective one, but it's not worth the effort to me to replace it again since it doesn't affect the main functionality. The whole mechanism feels like thin cheap plastic so I won't be surprised if it doesn't last.

But ultimately, it's an inexpensive and easy way to deal with a toilet issue. Just as good or bad as any other valve kit probably.

I purchased this item on Amazon in March 2015. Recently I noted that it didn't shut off completely on reaching the fill line. I adjusted the valve height without success. I looked at Korky's website, but then contacted their customer service. I was greeted by a very pleasant midwestern US woman named Melissa who tallked me through the repair process, even listening to various sounds during the process. finally we decided the problem was in the fill valve cap and she mailed out the repair kit , along with a new flapper. The valve now functions perfectly. The valve shouldn't have failed so soon, but the company stood behind the product. I will continue to use Korky products.
