Hex stem unthreads while trying to remove bit. Makes no sense why it's not permanently attached.

Despite the picture seeming to show this is not a 1/4" hex mount chuck, it actually is, which is precisely what I wanted to convert an impact driver I have into a drill. Seems to be of excellent build quality. However it does wobble around a bit in my driver, so I think I will machine a spacer to make it fit more tightly around the collet.

Appears to e perfectly adequate. Good for convertibpng 1/4 inch hex to drill chuck. These are handy adapters to have for conversion purposes.
