I loved the look of these boots. Once I got the boots on they were comfortable. I returned them because I could not comfortably put these boots on. My instep was wrong for this type of boot.

These are GREAT M/C riding boots. American made and fit perfect. True to size, outstanding quality and workmanship. Have owned many pairs of riding boots over the past 35 years and these are definitely the best so far. Be aware that hand-made boots will show slight differences in material as the leathers used are not man-made 'punch-outs'. That does not mean they are seconds or rejects. Only that they are made by humans not a robotic boot machine. If you are someone who likes craftsmanship and great fit then these are for you. If you are looking for cloned duplicates, stay away. Lastly, GREAT price. Although, you will have to keep tabs on the fluctuation in price as they can be had for a great deal less than most brick-and-mortar.

The quality of materials in this boot does not match the price. The leather is thin and overly soft, so the boot does not hold shape from the moment you take them out of the box. The stacked heel is made of plastic or some other synthetic and not made of leather. To be fair the overall construction seemed well done, but otherwise this should be a $75 boot.

My advice would be to spend the same money on Hathorn boots or something similar and call it a day. As someone who once swore by Chippewa, I was very disappointed.

Since many people have trouble sizing these boots, here is a summary of my experience on the matter. I measured my feet according to the chart on the Chippewa website, and came up with 11 EE, which is my normal size. The boots felt very loose at first when I tried them on. Reading online, I found that pull-on boots often feel loose when new, but tighten as they break in. Probably why so many people think that these boots run big. I only wear these occasionally as "going out" boots, so it took months to break in, but they did begin to feel tighter. If you wear them every day and walk a lot, break-in should take a week or so. I also needed to tighten the buckles, to the second-tightest setting. People might not be aware that the buckle actually needs to be tightened, it is not merely decorative. It does not need to be be unbuckled to take the boots off, though. I have had these boots for over 9 months and am very happy with them. Very high quality. To get a good fit, go to the Chippewa website, find the sizing chart, and measure your feet, allow enough break-in time, tighten the buckles if necessary, and realize that pull-on boots will not feel as tight as lace-up boots.

These are well-made Vibram-soled leather boots that work beautifully and keep you comfortable when riding your motorcycle. I have also found them to be generally pretty comfortable for day to day wear and walking around. They are nice looking engineer-style boots whose two-silver buckles accent them well without making you look foolish. They were also half the cost of Redwing brand engineer boots or Chippewa's Rally boots.

Size-wise, I ordered a half size larger than the sneaker/loafer size that I typically wear which, with traditional cotton athletic socks left the boots a bit large in all dimensions. However, by adding an aftermarket insole (note: the boot does not come with an insole) and wearing thicker socks, the boots came up to the right size and feel great. As they have broken in over time, they just feel better and better. If you are a motorcycle rider who wants a nice pair of boots without breaking the bank, these are the ones to go for.
