My son loves building his train set in a million different ways. One of the best parts is always the bridges and tunnels. This bridge adds a whole new element of fun and surprise. We own a lot of Thomas pieces and this fits perfectly with them but adds more fun for any child who likes to pretend play. It's fun to "sabotage" each other's trains.

This was my second purchase of this brand for our 3 year old and we are very happy.
He actually chose it when I showed him different train bridges.
The bridge is tall enough for trains with big wheels to fit underneath. With the push of a button it splits open (collapsing). Very easy for a 3 year old to put back together. My son loves to pretend the bridge collapses and sends a construction guy (mini figure) to fix it. Its pretty sturdy for rough little hands. It comes with the two wooden rails on the side and they do fit IKEA and thomas the train wooden rails ( as many others in the market). It does look pretty bulky on a train table but it makes look the train set looks complete.
My 3 year old loves playing with it and so far it seems like it will last quite a long time.

Purchased for a nephew who is 2.5 and LOVES Brio. The bridge causes two different kinds of "uh-oh" which he loves. And can then fix. Hasn't broken yet, but there are some plastic pieces that I am a bit concerned with. Even if it breaks, totally worth it.

Wow, because I cannot believe I spent this amount on a small toy add on. But I am soooo glad I did. The designer should get an award. I love this because it is both a bridge and tunnel. Some of the bridges do not have the underpass feature. I like this because of the quality. Not sure if it is worth the money, but it is a really wonderful addition.
