I am a 1st year Apprentice with IBEW Local 280 in Oregon. My dad was in the trade for 30+ years, and instead of giving me starter tools, he said he would help me buy my first set. The deal was I couldn't buy "junk" tools. So he said this would be a great starter set, even though I won't need all of it right away, being that the contractor is required to supply most tools for electricians. I am working on my house I recently purchased, so they are already getting use. Can't wait to put them to use in the field.
