Good distance & brighter than anticipated. Nice size, not too big. It's beam quality surprised me. Better than expected.

Dorcy 41-4295 MG-300 Weather Resistant LED Flashlight

i ended up with two of these lights and the switches were junk in both of them the switches are poorly engineered, cheap and do not function. the switch is suppose to stay pressed in a threaded aluminum insert that holds a plastic insert that contains and insulates the terminal spring. the threaded aluminum insert that holds this hole assembly in the cap was loose in both flashlights and the pressed in switches pop out. The switches are way too small and fail as well. the quality of the reflector or led in the second one i received had spots in it were there was no light in the the spot itself and the spot was way to small and outer reflection to dark and to big poorly thought out the overall body design was excellent a little to big on the light end. i fixed the first one and junked the second one i got for free to replace the first one that failed. The threads i find in most aluminum flash lights are to small and wear out on the lights. them they are useless when u need it the most. pass on this light for sure its a waste of time and money. really disappointed
don't buy this!

I collect LED flashlights and Dorcy makes some nice medels. this isn't one of them. I ignored the negative reviews and regret it. It is very bright and attractive and it seems rugged but the tail switch is no good. It is the screw in type and it is impossible to find the correct spot to leave it in to ensure that it is off. Even when it seems to be off, it may come on later and drain the expensive litheum batteries. This is what happened to mine and I cannot spend the money to replace them knowing that they may be drained again. This light (one week old) will never be used again. The Dorcy rechargeable or double-A models with push-button switches are a much better choice.
Bad rubber boot/switch--poor durability

I bought the 41-4295 several years ago and it just sat in my car glovebox for the most part. Lithium 123 batteries were a good deal because the last for 10 years.
However, the other day I looked in the glovebox and the rubber back end had popped off...the plastic collar that holds the switch in the back of the light
had failed.
No repair part is available for a $30 flashlight...this is the last Dorcy product I'll buy...LOL!
Back to Surefire FTW...any surefire product is fully repairable!
