Pump works great! After reading several reviews, I ordered this pump. Its is true, the rate at which these pumps remove water is also dependent on the size hose you use. I use a water hose and it takes several hours to remove the water from my yard, but I am going to purchase the sump pump discharge hose soon. So, if you have a large amount of water, you will want to purchase the large diameter hose that goes with these pumps.

I use this pump to empty our cheapo plastic pool as well as our rain barrels. I was tired of carrying water one bucket at a time to our garden and other plants. This pump does the job. I connect ~80' of garden hose and it moves the water where I need it, eith sufficient pressure to use a normal hose nozzle.
It can get nearly all the water out - less than 1/4 inch is left standing in the pumped-out area.

Awesome little pump, we use it to pump water from the basement up one story and into the sink and even though it's not jet fast like I've seen in videos it does pump the water out with a steady stream. Only downside is that its manual says not to pump water below 1 inch so that kind of stinks for I'd like all the water out. But other than that it really seems to work good.
