I got this grease to lube the controls on my small 6hp outboard. It works great. I use it for an antisieze on the prop shaft too. I bought it specifically for the outboard but I end up using it on all sorts of small mechanisms around the home and shop. Great on fishing reels and guns too. I had some pocket knives that were stiff and oil was not helping at all on the pivots. A tiny dab of this grease and they open and close so smoothly now.

This is the original Synco product. And it's the best there is. It won't ever harden, dry out, or melt. It retains it's lubrication properties in a wide temperature range. And the two best properties ... it is safe on all plastics and rubbers (so it won't degrade or ruin gaskets or boots etc.) and it's food safe, so it can be used to lubricate mixers, blenders, and other food preparation equipment.
This stuff is expensive, but it can be used sparingly. I regularly use it for maintenance. I use it to lubricate the garage door and the opening mechanism, car doors, hood latch, and I even put a very thin coat on clean battery terminals. I have even used it on stubborn gate hinges and latch. And it is the perfect gun grease.
I prefer this tube format since it is easiest to use and to reseal.

I got this to use with my Monoprice MP Select Mini 3D Printer to grease all of the rails etc as oil just wasn't the best option.
I wanted something that not only lubricates but protects from rust and this stuff is exactly what I needed. I also wanted something that lasted longer as oil didn't seem to last long in terms of having to re-apply it.
I got this as I also plan to use it for other things as well, but the 3D printer was the primary reason for buying it.
Happy with product, will buy again as needed.

I use this on all the high friction parts on all of my guns. That and a Q-tip works flawlessly. I also use slip2000 for oil. All of my weapons fire so smooth, its almost like the slides are gliding. Also, after hundreds of rounds through most of them, they clean up really well thanks to the slip2000, and there is no noticeable wear on any of the parts thanks in part to this grease. Highly recommended.
