The binder is pretty much a simple 3 ring binder with a "Hockey" logo on the front. The major difference is that it is padded. I also purchased 100 Ultra Pro 9 Pocket Silver Series pages so that I can begin storing my hockey cards. For those that are wondering I placed the entire base set of the 2017-2018 season and they completely fit and there is enough room for about another 100 cards.
There is a nice little window on the side that you can use to label the binder so that if you need multiple volumes to complete your collection they can be well organized. Additionally the window comes with a label that advises you that you can turn it over to use as your own personal label so there is no need cut a cardboard paper out and fiddle around with measurements or use stickers that will leave a sticky residue behind.
I will be purchasing another one shortly to accommodate my 2016-2016 season cards.
