I wish I had discovered this long ago

I decided to try the BunnyK Foamaster after reading reviews of how well it is made and mixed reviews of how it works. I just received it and had to go out and use it. I used about 2 ozs of Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Glow solution to about 3/4 of the bottle with water. I got plenty of suds but as others have said it did not really foam up as much as the picture but enough to clean my car. I only used about half of the solution in the canister. I simply foamed/suds it and let it sit about 5 mins while I brushed the wheel brake dust/dirt off of the wheels then rinsed it. A special thanks to the person who posted that you can simply move the dial in between the numbered settings and just water will come out. That precludes having to disconnect the hose from the bottle to rinse. I did not touch the surface of the paint as the solution I used cleans it for you. I usually wash my cars once a week or so and it was not heavily soiled. it did not remove all of the brake dust from the wheels as I had hoped so I had to brush them but it still makes the job a whole lot easier. I have 3 vehicles so this is a blessing for me.
Good, affordable foam gun for the home user

First, understand this is a foam "GUN" designed for your garden hose, not a foam "CANNON" designed for your power washer. It doesn't put out a thick layer of foam that will blanket your car for 10 minutes the way a foam cannon will. This will cover your car with a generous amount of foamy bubbles but tends to be more watery. However, its much cheaper than a foam cannon, is much easier to use, and it does a very good job. The supplied water hose sprayer is of high quality with a nice brass quick-attach/release to the soap container and spray nozzle. This allows you to quickly switch between foaming your car and rinsing it. It also has the ability to lock the handle in the on position, so you get continuous spray of foam without exhausting your hand. The reservoir is large enough to hold enough soap to thoroughly wash any car or boat.

It has some minor annoyances. First, if you want to set it down so you can wash your car, it always tips over. Its also a bit kludgy to hold in one hand while your wash mitt is in the other hand. However, these are trivial.
Exact same as Chemical Guys TORQ foam blaster & Gilmour plastic foam guns

Don't be fooled by the name-- In reality, this foam gun is just a rebadged Gilmour Foamaster II. And that "TORQ Foam Blaster" that Chemical Guys sells? Yup, exact same design and quality as this one. Only this one is much cheaper, and less attractive only if you care about things with logos/branding on them. Personally, I don't.

Anyway this gun is spec'd the same as the guns I mentioned. "0" puts out the most foam, while "5" puts out the least. The spray nozzle detaches with brass quick connects and a thread is supplied at the base of it in order to accept a regular hose or for the addition of another male quick connect. The nozzle (foaming wand) at the end of the gun can be adjusted for vertical or horizontal spraying. The container holds just short of a quart of solution, and a snorkel/straw draws it up into the body and out to be foamed.

An interesting thing to note about this gun is that you can "hack" the foaming system by simply dialing a blank setting in between a numbered setting, say a blank portion between "0" and "1". This causes no solution to be carried up, and instead water only to come out the wand.

I've used this product numerous times--like putting in wash shampoo/water solution in for washing my cars with CLEAN, foamy wash water and only one rinse bucket. I've also used it to foam my vinyl siding down with a dish soap/water solution so I could get all that decade-old gross green stuff off with a siding brush--man, did that turn out nice. Squeaky clean siding.
Does the trick, without a pressure washer.

I withheld review until I used it a few times. It does what it claims, so let's get that out of the way. If your expectation is shaving cream thick foam, this isn't going to do it. For that, you need to spend a bunch more cash (pressure washer & foam lance). However, if you want to simply soap it up, this works great. It's pretty much what you see in the youtube reviews. The soap concentration is adjustable, which is a plus. On full bore, it will go through soap VERY FAST. I keep mine around the middle setting, and have soap left in the jug. Adjust to suit your task. The sprayer... It lacks an in-between, or fan, spray. Either off, or full on hard stream. That's a little bit of a disappointment, but not a deal breaker for me.
Way better priced than identical items.

I'm relatively new to the 'detailing world' and decided to try this foam gun (vs. a foam cannon) since I don't have a pressure washer. It has 6 settings - 0 provides the best foam blanket (but burns through your mixture pretty quick). I've only used it once and went back and forth between 0-2 in attempting to get decent foam and still cover my truck with one fill of the reservoir. I feel it does it's job as advertised (for way less $ than identical foam guns), but I'm not sure it's the route I want to go. Unless you're on the 0 setting, the foam pretty much slides off the vehicle and will dry before you get around to using the mit on all the sides of the vehicle (not to say the 0 setting creates a resilient foam layer). I've watched videos of the foam cannons and they apply a quality of foam that coats the vehicle like you can't believe. All that said, if you don't have the option of a foam cannon... and you want to give this a try, I definitely recommend this product over identical ones that you can spend 3-5x as much money on. It seems to be well built and if properly taken care of should last.
