USED TO BE Good pants, terrible button thread. NOW terrible pants

Great pants. Fits like actual BDUs and are almost as tough as the ones I was issued.
EXCEPT OUT OF 6 PAIRS, ALL OF THEM ARE MISSING BUTTONS.
Seriously, the buttons on these things are sewn on with thread that is as strong as a premature baby's arm hairs. All of the other stitches are fine, they've been soaked in everything from transmission fluid to silicone caulk to gasoline and more and held up great. It's just these buttons! I feel like I lose another one every trip to the restroom.
UPDATE: Ordered two more pairs, got "genuine gear" junk. Flimsy plastic material, zippered fly, not even close to BDUs, junk. Extremely disappointing to see the change, as I still wear my propper BDUs I ordered years ago everyday. Would give 0 stars if I could.

The most comfortable and durable pants i have ever owned.

I wear proper bdus for rock climbing, mountaineering, and hiking . I generally shred threw pants by either tearing them on rocks or blowing the crotch out. I just bought my second pair of proper bdu's. My first pair has lasted me 10 years so far and are still in almost perfect shape, just a little faded. I can not say enough about the durability and flexibility of these pants. They allow me to stretch my legs as far as possible with no restrictions. They are double thick where you need them (although i haven't torn threw the first layer on my 10 year old pair) they are the most comfortable pair of pants i own, they look professional but feel like you're wearing sweat pants. brand name climbing pants cost at least 100$ and don't last nearly as long. These cost 30 and have lasted me 10 years so far, i wouldn't be suprised if they lasted another 10. If you're looking for a durable and comfortable pair of pants get these, you get your money's worth 10 fold.
Good BDUs, Bad Sizing Info

WARNING: SIZE CHARTS ON PROPER WEBSITE ARE INCORRECT! When I purchased these for my husband and son, there was no size chart on the Amazon website for them, so we went to the Proper website. The large on their chart is 35"-39" at the waist but measured 41" in person and the small should be 27"-31" at the waist but measured 33".
The material feels durable like what you would expect of poly/cotton BDUs. Other than the size issue, these are a good buy.

Comfortable but big

I bought these to replace my old Propper BDUs that have lasted a few years. These BDUs are comfortable and lightweight but run larger than the other Propper BDUs I have owned. I am 5'9" and 140 lbs and ordered a medium regular, which is the size of my other Propper BDUs. I wish I would have ordered a small regular. These pants fall down without a belt and are even a bit too long, about an inch past my heel. Overall the quality seems good and the fabric has held up to the thorns and abrasive shrubs I have encountered. I have only worn them a few days, I will update this review if anything changes.
Update: It has been a few months and these pants have still held up well. I have noticed that they are not as cool in the summer heat (upper 80s and hotter) than other Propper pants I have owned but are still decent for the remainder of the year.

Overpriced for what you're getting.

I returned these. They had a very strange fit to them; the leg and knee areas were huge in comparison to the waist. It was as if Aladdin had wished for some tactical pants! The color was also off; they are described as "dark navy", but I would not put them in the "navy" category of blue, let alone "dark navy". They were more like plain, garden variety blue.
I ended up getting the 5.11 Stryke pant after returning those, which I prefer sooooooo much more.
