I wasn't sure that a nongreasy lotion would work, since I was used to the heavier, definitely greasy Eucerin Intensive Repair--which did kept my dry skin under pretty good control. I asked my dermatologist and he said to look for glycerin or hyaluronic acid as ingredients that would hold moisture in my skin. This has the latter and it does hold moisture. I only use this about 4x/day and I wash or sanitize my hands frequently. I do not have to reapply this every time I clean my hands. It feels dry on my skin, so I can touch things, very quickly. No need for gloves in bed as with Eucerin. I use a very small amount. If it's not heavy-enough, you can apply twice. So glad I found this!

I ordered this for a vacation trip we took. The 3-oz travel size is a good size for a trip and will work for the airline liquid restrictions.

I have dry skin and CeraVe is my go-to brand. The moisturizing lotion is fine to use for your and your body. I like using a wrinkle cream usually for my face but having an all-in-one product is great for traveling.

The lotion is not greasy but is creamy and feels very moisturizing.

If you have normal to dry skin- this product is great! However if you have combination skin or oily skin- you should find another product that is specifically designed for your skin type or this moisturizer. If you don't know your skin type- check the way your skin is when you wake up. If you are oily on your cheeks and the rest of your face- you probably have oily skin. If your skin is just oily on your forehead, nose and chin- you probably have combination skin. If you wake up and your skin feels tight, maybe even some flaking- you probably have dry skin.

I suffer from seborrheic dermatitis, so my skin is super sensitive most face moisturizers burn my skin. my skin used to be rough and peeled all the time. i switched to this after trying neutrgena products and even tried prescription stuff. i got a free sample of this from cerave in the mail at the time i was super desperate to find something that would make even a tiny improvement. after trying the sample i bought this the next day. this made an immediate difference. it melts into the skin and doesn't feel heavy or oily when applying. theres no added fragrance so it doesnt smell at all. its the only product ive ever used that doesnt hurt or burn. my skin is clear and soft after 2 weeks using it a few times a week. this product quite literally saved my face. my fiance noticed the change right away and has noticed that my confidence has also improved. i was also surprised about how well it works under makeup as well. it kept my face nice and hydrated all day and actually make makeup removal easier.

I love this lotion and I've tried so many, it's light yet very moisturizing. I use it every morning before applying primer and foundation, balances out my skin and I feel moisturized all day.
