If you have a heavily stocked reef that sucks out massive amounts of nutrients than this is probably the salt for you. All I've seen in my normal reef tank is an excess of additives that has grown my hair algae and briopsis beautifully! I use 0tds RO dual stage DI water I make myself. Ive had better success lately switching to Instant Ocean in my reef (almost no hair algae anymore and the briopsis I killed with TechM).

Ordered multiple times. Only the best for my 125g. Coral loves it. Water levels stay constant. Research show Red Sea is top quality. Never had a broken bucket on shipment.
Great salt that corals seem to love.

I'm a big fan of this salt. I've used several different types and the tank really responded to this one.
Even in the midst of some nutrient issues (cyano...so much cyano) switching to this salt resulted in SPS perking up, seemed to increase growth and coloration. Could just be a coincidence because there are a lot of variables in a tank, but everything in my mixed-reef tank responded well to this salt.
Fair warning, sometimes the bucket breaks in shipping. It's happened to me a couple of times. You don't lose any salt because it's sealed in a plastic bag (or if I've lost some, it's a negligible amount) but I would encourage you to keep an empty salt bucket around that's all in one piece for storage, in case yours come in pieces.

Best salt on the market

Best salt on the market. I am meticulous about a weekly 10-15% water change. I've been using for 3 yrs now and with the water change I never have to dose a thing. Nothing. Small note - I don't have an SPS dominated tank. Just a half dozen or so thriving pieces. I can't say you wouldn't have to dose at least Alk and Cal if you had an SPS focused tank. Just my experience with my particular tank.
