These cookies were good. Someone mentioned in their review that they taste like the McDonald Land cookies from back in the day. I don't happen to agree, but they are very good and fresh.
These are what McDonald's "McDonaldland Cookies" were

Anyone remember McDonaldland Cookies? They were just reshaped Keebler (plain) Animal Crackers. (If you want proof, look for images of the old bags and boxes of McDOnaldland Cookies. The Keebler logo is on the box.)
Luckily, Keebler kept making the cookies with that recipe in the form of these "Animal Crackers" (really, they are cookies). You shouldn't be surprised, as they manufacture most private brand cookies, including Girl Scout Cookies.
So buy these if you're looking for that nostalgic McDonaldland Cookie taste.

Best Animal Cracker cookies on the market!

Hands down, the best Animal Cracker Cookies on the market. Why? Flavor/Taste. Quality. Freshness. These guys (Keebler) are the ones that made/make the McDonaldland Cookies at McDonalds. I remember when growing up as a kid, those were the best. Well, these are those same cookies! Not sure why, but these are hard to find in grocery stores. So, if you're looking for a good snack, or a trip down memory lane, get these!
these were perfect for use with our fundraising event.

As someone that often doesn't know when to quit, anything in portion control sizes is a good thing.
I'm so glad I ordered these, not only because of the smaller size, but there are so many that I get to share them with everyone. And who doesn't love animal crackers? I'm sending some to a niece, and more will be sent to a friend's college dorm.
Still others were gifted to a friend who has her grandchildren around all the time.
Because they don't contain any chocolate, I can even share one cracker now and then with my dog.
They have a sturdier crunch than my usual animal cracker, the one in the circus box. I'm still trying to forgive that company for taking away the little ribbon on the top of the box.
As a baby boomer, I'm more than willing to pay a little extra to have that same nostalgic box with the animals printed on it.
And if you don't feel like paying a premium price, and you only want the crackers and don't care about the circus box packaging, these are a great option.
