I have a few drums that needed the top removed to use as a trash can. After spending some time cutting a few of them open with a grinder/cutting wheel & a Sawzall, I decided to give this a try.
Let me say, this tool is soooo much faster & easier to use. I'd also say it's much safer as well. The end result looks much cleaner & doesn't have sharp edges to deal with like the other methods.
It was tricky to use at 1st, but I quickly got the hang of it for the next drums. The directions included were pretty good too.
I would buy it again if I needed to, but I think this is going to last for quite some time.
