Worth the extra investment

Had been using Chef'n Citrus juicers for a while to make juice for Tiki drinks. They worked well for juicing a couple fruits, but not great if in need of juicing for party volumes. I didn't want anything electric so that it could be used anywhere, at any time and quiet. The Nemco was more expensive than many other offerings, but it appeared more robust, well designed and being US made was a plus. Very happy I made the investment. Extremely sturdy, super easy to clean and makes juicing a good amount of fruit extremely convenient. Seems to get the perfect amount of juice from limes in particular without getting into the bitter rind.
Fabrication Issue / Loose strainer and housing

Purchased and now returning 2 different Nemco (55850) Easy Juicers from. The hole that 'locks' the strainer housing is cut too big on both juicers I have received. (See attached image) This causes the strainer and strainer housing to move out of the lower chamber each time I release pressure on the arm of the device. I have to hold it with my hand to stabilize it because the strainer and housing will not remain in place. This is a real problem when juicing more than one citrus! This a quality control / fabrication issue that Nemco needs to address. Certainly not what I expect from a commercial juicer at this price. I wanted to like this product as much as other reviewers, but this is a deal breaker.

Excellent quality juicer. I purchased this one because it is made in the USA, and is also the only one that is NSF certified. Well worth the price. It's very easy to use, and is already assembled. It arrived very quickly, within a few days.
This is the real deal and works like a charm

Wow, what a beauty. This is the real deal and works like a charm. So solid and does not tip over like the less expensive long lever types. It is a functional work of art.

This is an amazing juicer. We just bought another one for a family member who loves margaritas... essential bar accessory if you like fresh citrus juice. People at our parties can't keep their hands off it!
