Excellent taste and nutritional value

The Taste is delicious. The nutritional value is excellent. It comes in a small hard plastic wrapped cube which is not the most usable form. Here is what I do: put the plastic bag in a bowl of warm water until the coconut softens. Then mush it all around to blend in any coconut oil that has separated. Next squeeze it out onto a plate to form a thin layer and chill it. Once it is solid, chop it up in small pieces and put it in a container in the fridge. Whenever you want to add delicious coconut flavor, pull out a scoop of the small chunks. It's great sprinkled on salads, and smoothies, and added to sauces. They're all so great just to nibble on.
Basically a slightly gritty coconut butter/manna

This is basically just coconut butter or coconut manna. It tastes good, but it isn't the best that I have ever tried. I prefer Nutiva organic coconut manna. However, I usually make mine at home by pureeing shredded coconut in my high powered blender. Mine also comes out creamier than this. This is a little bit gritty and has added coconut oil that can separate. I got mine in January when it is very cold here, so it was solid and hard and the coconut oil had risen to the top. I was surprised by how hard it was because mine doesn't get as solid even when it is cold. After the package was warmed, it was fairly easy to massage it to combine it by hand. It is more trouble than it is worth, so I won't be purchasing this again. The expiration date is July of 2019.
Used this for curries, this product was simply awesome!!!

It was even better than finely-ground coconut typically used in South Indian and Thai curries.

I never had the time to grate and grind coconut, used to use canned coconut milk (which has disadvantages of using the preservative sodium metabisulfite and usually in BPA lined cans). Also canned coconut milk is very 'thin' and makes the curries watery.

Was a bit leery about the packing, when buying it I thought these were tetrapacks. Instead they are plastic bags in small cardboard boxes. The labels do not mention any preservatives and the packing says US and Canada-certified organic, so I guess it is pretty safe.

Each pack is supposed to have 7 servings, which seems to be optimistic. A typical curry with about an lb of food would take up about one-third to half the packet.

Also note that the packet has about 1400 calories, 96% of these calories coming from fat. So it can be pretty fattening if a real-life serving is about 450 calories. But compared to a can of coke with 150 empty calories, I guess this is not too bad :)

All told, excellent taste, excellent texture, no harmful preservatives. No more canned coconut milk for me.
Only the good stuff!

Very tasty, no fillers or additives & extremely easy to use in every recipe I've tried the creamed coconut in. I've made veggie curry, butter chicken, whipped cream & a cheesecake with Let's Do Organic creamed coconut.
This coconut is NOT coconut milk. It's the thick layer on top of the can of coconut we all want when making recipes that call for that thick, refrigerated layer. The taste is very creamy & smooth just as it is in canned varieties. I purchased this package because there are ZERO additives as there are in many canned brands. This package contains 6 individual 7oz boxes. when I say "box", think lunch box juice box carton size, only slightly larger). The package is somewhat difficult to open so I used scissors to cut the top off. Once open, I added the cream directly to my recipes or added to a bowl & using an electric mixer, whipped it until light & fluffy before adding a bit of vanilla & monk fruit in the raw to make dairy free whipped cream.
I'm a fan & that fact that this package stores so well & stays fresh for so long is a bonus to the flavor & smooth consistency. I will definitely be purchasing this product again.
Love this handy stuff!

After the many complaining reviews I had expected to have more of a hassle with this, but it's super! I keep it in a coolish, dark place. A few days before I want it I take out a packet and knead it till it's a smooth liquid and just lay it out flat for a day or so in my air conditioned room till I want some. By then... (you could speed this up by just popping it into the fridge for a little while) it's become almost solid...thicker than toothpaste... and if I just clip a corner off the packet I can squeeze out how ever much I need and I'm all set!

I eat this plain when I'm hungry and wanting something sweet. This gives me a healthy fat, protein, all the good things in coconut AND curbs my (sometimes voracious) sweet tooth to boot!

I imagine if you were going to use this in cooking it would be a great consistency just after kneading smooth and pouring out what you need too! Great stuff!
