I with the orientation would allow the cable to sit down towards the ground.
It currently has the cable to the left after plugged into the twist-lock.
It the manufacturer would rotate the 30amp side from 270° down to 180° or move ground terminal so it's at 12 o'clock instead of 3 o'clock like it is now.
