Bought this duo for nursing school. I use the stethoscope daily & the BP cuff not so much. The stethoscope feels heavy duty and is very durable, I can hear the heart sounds very well except in the apical area ... lung sounds varies and I hear pulses well with this stethoscope. I did hear my dogs heart beat loud & clear. It's no Littmann but this does get the job done especially for the price. BP cuff works fine, was actually in the nursing pack my school offers for an absurd price.

After reading a dozen "top 10 best budget aneroid sphygmomanometers" articles and sifting through reviews I decided on this guy. I'm a kinesiology student in my last year at my undergraduate and because of COVID m'y last labs can't be in person. So I had to buy all of my own equipment without being late on my rent. I wanted something that would get me through this class and possibly take into my next job before I invest in a "grown ups" set of tools for the rest of my career. I saw a couple reviews about the Velcro not holding up on this brand, but that was the only potential issue with this brand compared to the half a dozen other ways other brands break. And after a whole quarter of weekly use, this thing still holds up and I'm incredibly pleased with my purchase. The stethoscope is a little funky with separate tubes for each ear compared to a single tube on some other brands (just another opportunity to get tangled) but honestly not an issue. The cuff works great and one of my lab participants that I took a reading on went to the doctor a couple days later and verified that my unit was correctly calibrated so that's a plus. I see a lot of reviews highlight "easy to use" but these shouldn't be used for self monitoring. These are a tool that require a couple minutes of training to understand what you are listening for. So I don't know why that's part of some peoples reviews.

Tl;Dr: I bought this because I wanted something better than a kids toy but less expensive than professional grade. It works great and the Velcro has held up. Mine was calibrated correctly, and it's great for my classes.

My doctor wanted me to monitor my blood pressure. I did quite a bit of research before deciding to give these a shot. Boy was I surprised upon receiving them. Stethoscope and BP cuffs were extremely high quality. I compared them to my aunts who's an RN and they were better than what she had purchased a couple of years ago for more than double the price. Most important part is the cuffs are spot on. The nurse in my doctors office tried the cuffs then retook my readings with there unit. Spot on. My aunt just bought the same set here. She loves them too.If your looking at these. Don't hesitate, save yourself hours of research and just order them now.

I received my kit today and the gage for the blood pressure is defective. The line isn't directly on the zero.
