It worked exactly as described, did not have any chemical odor, and I highly recommend it! Was very refreshing

I am a mom in my 30s and for some reason after my second child I had itching, burning or some issue mostly every month around my period. Sex would make it much worse, and you cant just stop having sex when you are married. I would have a little itch or odor coming on and then after sex I would have odor, burning around the labia, and discharge. It was like torture to sit down. To have sex would mean to gear up for at least a week of burning. Over 2 years, I was diagnosed with BV like 5 times and occasionally diagnosed with yeast, was on multiple meds off an on, both oral and vaginal, went to specialists, the whole thing. I found the product on a BV forum, I started using it every 3 days along with taking probiotics from the health store. The problem is COMPLETELY gone. I now use it only once a month before my period, when I start to feel an irritation, or if I feel some disturbance a couple of days after sex. I dont care if it has a clumpy discharge for one day, no more burning!

I know so many women suffer with this or I would never put personal information on the internet. After 3 straight years of using rephresh, I had not needed it but once every few months. No problems. Out of nowhere the problem returned of the burning. I let it go to long, so the rephresh didn't get rid of it. I tried every self diagnosis again, with the boric acid, baking soda, some BV thing from England, just was in recurrent misery for 3 months. Finally went to the doctor and got checked for everything. She said there is no BV, no overt yeast but I may be reacting to small amounts before my cycle. There must be some physical irritation taking place, she said, some imbalance. She told me stop wearing pants, only skirts. NO sanitary pads, unless on cycle. No soaps at all, pure water. No creams from the pharmacy, STOP all of it. Pure coconut oil for sex. And back to rephresh after sex and period. Thank god, that did the trick. Women, do not give up hope, keep searching, go to the doctor if you need.

**I have an update 2 years after starting to use the product. I now only use it about every 2 months, if I start to feel burning, which is usually after sex. The BV or yeast just doesnt take off, and in 1-2 days I am back to normal. This product was a lifesaver. I work in healthcare and recommend it all the time.

ORIGINAL REVIEW from July 25,2012: This product has kept me irritation and infection free for over a month now!

I have been struggling with vaginal irritation for the past 3 years. I changed my laundry detergent, went to numerous doctors ($$$), and tried a plethora of OTC treatments (including herbal treatments). NOTHING WORKED. The irritation would get better, but then it would come right back. I've suffered with UTI's, yeast infections, and, most recently, I've been getting this red irritation on my outer labia. I was checked for an STD, and it came back negative (thank God!). So, my gyno said it might be an imbalance in my vaginal pH. She put me on some antibiotics, thinking it was bacterial vaginitis, but that didn't work either. My life had become overshadowed by this issue. It affected my work life, my social life, and, worst of all, my love life had suffered to the point where I just didn't want to have sex anymore.

So, I decided to try this product, and it has kept me feeling fresh and irritation free for over a month! I have subscribed for two refills monthly. UPDATE from Feb. 23, 2013: It has been almost a year since I began using this product. I find that I do not have to use it very often now. I still keep at least one box on hand in case I begin to feel irritation.

Also, to shed light on some of the other reviews: Yes, after a day or two you will see a white discharge (that looks like cottage cheese, but it is NOT YEAST). It is the natural shedding of the vaginal wall and some of the gel leaving you body. When you first use the gel, you may feel a very, very mild burning sensation. After about 20 minutes, you will begin to feel relief.

Overall, I am so incredibly grateful for this product. It has changed my life (and especially my sex life)! Thank you!

I can't say anything bad about this product. And moisturize as well. It illuminates odor brings that pH to balance. I'm happy.
