Arrived damaged, had to return
As others noted, it needs enhancements but for the price, it makes a good starting point.

Used for HO train layout. After reading the negative reviews, I was hesitant to buy. However I'm glad I did. It was what I expected, can't ask for much more for the price. But It does need work. I added rocks made from molds, trees, and woodland scenes foliage for shrubbery, and I was happy with the results - see photo.
Ok

Please see the photos I've attached to this review. That will tell you more than my words will about this item. For all the ratings and reviews for this small Rocky Ridge, no one bothered to upload actual in-hand photos so I thought I'd do it. Many reviews claim that theirs look nothing like the the official product photos from Woodland Scenics. To those people I would somewhat agree. The item I have certainly lacks the same kind of coverage and shrubbery that the official product has, and it even has a slightly different shade of green. Whether or not this bothers you is up to you, of course. I'm not really bothered too much by it because I still like what I got. For $17 it's in line with a lot of kits you can buy to make a diorama like this. Still, I would not have bought this if I was just going to leave it as is. I will definitely put some work into it by adding more shrubbery, trees, rocks, etc.

Anyway, in the photos I've included a Bandai Tamashi Nations SH MonsterArts Godzilla action figure for size comparison, as well as some Outland Models N Scale (1/150-1/144 scale) model buildings, and some Woodland Scenics HO Scale Everyday People figurines. Hopefully that gives you an idea of how big this thing is.
A bit out of scale.

It says HO scale but it's a bit small. The train cars are higher than the hill. You could put two together, one on either side of a track section, and it would look like a pass through a low hill. Or put it out at the far end to look like a ridge off in the distance. But for the most part it'll go better with N scale.
