Introduction:
I purchased this starter kit because I wanted to get a Swiffer Sweeper of my own. I had one in university and it was effective at cleaning tiled floors, and lighter than a regular mop. I noticed that the price of this kit was cheaper than purchasing just the sweeper itself, and I could also make use of the dry and wet pads, so I purchased this kit.

Pros:
Easy to clean tiled floors.
Does not buildup with dirt since a new paper towel is attached on each cleaning.
The paper towel refills are convenient to use because they can be disposed of without cleaning them as well.

Cons:
The paper towel refills are an extra, perpetual expense.
Sometimes a single refill is not enough to clean a floor; you may need to use multiple during one cleaning session.

Additional Information:
This kit includes a new Swiffer Sweeper.
The wet refills have certain scents added to them.
It is possible the refills could be replaced by rags or regular paper towel brands that are durable and extra-long.

Conclusion:
I think the Swiffer Sweeper is a convenient cleaning item to have around the house or apartment. I am not fond of the refills, and I have tried to find cheaper alternatives. Some paper towel brands can work but rags are generally a better alternative, though harder to clean. Overall, I think this is a great product. I'm glad it was created, and I'm happy to use the sweeper itself without purchasing the wet and dry refills.

This is nicely made, lightweight, and easy to use. I don't know if I would recommend for use in bigger areas as it is lot more efforts to clean the cloth repeatedly. The mop head pivots properly allowing you to get under objects like your couch.
I use this with microfiber cleaning cloths, not the disposable cloths they try to get you to buy. You can use the cloths dry to dust or wet to clean. It's fast, easy, and makes my floors super clean. The disposable cloths don't work as well and I refuse to throw away money on them.
This is easy for storage as can be dismentled & again put together easily without much efforts.

I love Swiffer and this is the first product of theirs I actually bought. It's nice, the kit comes with two dry "broom" pads and two wet "mop" pads. The broom pads are like magic! I love them, but my only problem is that for bigger messes or a larger area, you'll want to spot sweep most of the bigger 'chunks' before using it. It's great for hard to reach places, like under the furnaces or around the toilet.

I knocked off a star for packaging. I did order this online with a few other items and qualified for free shipping, which usually means poorer packaging to begin with. The item was poking through the box a good foot and a half! It didn't fit so someone fanangled it in at an angle and just shoved the rest through. It didn't damage it, thankfully, but it was still a little odd.

I bought the starter kit on Amazon (and wet mop refills at Costco) a few months ago. I live in a mostly carpeted apartment with a small kitchen that has tile floors. I think this swiffer is perfect for what I need. One wet mop will clean my floor well and leave a nice clean scent (which disappears in a day). I mop once a week and it's always astounding how much stuff is on my floor.

I recommend this for:
- small spaces
- people who hate mopping but find it necessary
- light use

I agree with reviews that the mop doesn't "cling" to everything. I usually take the mop cloth off, and use the back side of the cloth to pick up the leftovers on the floor. This works really well, even if it's a little more effort. I also don't recommend this if you have a large area to clean because you'll need more than one cloth and it's not worth it. But for my small kitchen (~100 sq ft), it's a perfect size.

The Swiffer Sweeper is a great tool to clean your hard floor surfaces with quickly, and is really great for the person that wants to routinely dust and clean their floors in between larger cleanings. The system also does includes wet rags for more of a mopping effect, but this system really shines for dry dusting the floor.

The mop handle is very quick to assemble, and is much sturdier than a version from 5 years ago which I assembled. The mop is maneuverable and is great for reaching into hard-to-reach areas and under furniture.

I highly recommend this for anyone that would like to keep their floors free of dust, especially those with small children who are always all over the floor.
