This was an awesome set. My son loves it. I was honestly suprised at the quality, each car is about the size of my hand and it takes AA batteries for the Diesel engine.

Amazing price for all that you get here!! Perfect 1st train set for 2 year old because they can be semi-rough with it and you won't lose your mind if it breaks. Train has made it through rough play so far and other trains can ride on the track as well (Thomas electric). The rubber connection that makes the wheels spin on the electric train slipped off wheel once, but with a quick unscrewing of the base, I put it back on and train is running smoothly again.

This is a decent little train. It's light weight but not flimsy. The track is plastic and may break easy if not take apart properly. I would not let children put the track together or especially take it apart. The rest of the train is kid friendly, and the pieces are nice. I bought this for a toy to distract the grandkids from MY Christmas train!

I was hesitant to order this train because of the low price. I was concerned that the quality would not be good. However, after reading the reviews I decided to order because I would not be out much money if my grandchildren did not like it. My 3 year old grandson has always loved coming to my home, but is now extra excited to come because he gets to play with this train. He is able to set it up on the track by himself and spends hours playing with it when he comes. My only complaint is that the train did not work when I first took it out of the package because a rubber band had come loose on the front wheels of the engine. It was fairly easy to slip it back on the wheel, but it occasionally slips off and I have to put it back on. I am a bit concerned that it might eventually break after stretching it to put it back on. But my grandson loves it so much that it is worth this minor defect.
